Whenever we take on a new client we always start our engagement with a thorough and detailed Customer Survey.
Part of this research piece is carried out by way of an online survey and partly in depth telephone interviews.
This data informs every part of the business; business strategy, product development, customer service, content, marketing, you name it.
We have honed the Customer Survey process over the years, incorporating more in depth buying insights. You can download our core Customer Survey and modify the questions to suit your business.
We typically develop the survey in Survey Monkey and incentivise users to participate. This is often done by way of a sweepstake with the prize being a $500 gift voucher. We push the survey out to the database by way of EDM and we will also post on the clients social sites. We only hold the survey open for a week.
We then crunch and analyse the data. What falls out from the survey are very clear Customer Personas.
